You Lazy Bastard!

Yes I am! I couldn't be arsed to fill in my Blog on top of all the other things I've had to do. I'm still working on that website but with any luck it'll be up by the end of September.

I'm also looking to buy a Ford Fusion soon (1.6 TDi or 1.4 TDi) so will keep you posted on that. I'm also after a personalised number plate but I'll keep the actual plate quiet in case some fucker buys it and tries to flog it to me at an inflated price!

Work is going very good apart from the early shift (up at 5:00 to be in for 7:00) and sometimes the traveling can be a bitch, especially when some old bastard is going at 20mph in front of me.

One final note, am I the only one scared by the latest Tesco advert (on the radio) saying that if you enter your Clubcard number into their website after you register for online-shopping, they'll list all the stuff you've ever bought. I mean, for fuck sake what other information have Tesco (and other companies) got on us? Come to think of it, how much of this info has been passed onto the Government?

Anyway, don't get me started on conspiracy theories, I could go on all day. Who knows I may do in a future post!

In the meantime Stay Geeky

Another day, another.....

So what have I been up to lately I hear you ask!
Well, over the weekend I had dinner at my brothers house and then started work on my new website venture.

I'm getting a website done which I can't say much about at the moment but I will keep you all updated. Basically it's a freelancer website for people in a certain field of work to find jobs/contracts and even if I'm being modest it's a one of a kind venture. Paul, the owner and idea man, is one of the faces behind
http://www.shubrookbros.com and his father worked on the special effects in programs such as Thunderbirds.

Aside from that I've been trying to learn to write software for my Sharp Zaurus SL-5500 Linux based PDA as I wish to see if I can create some handy bits of software for myself before venturing into creating a program to print wirelessly over a LAN. Once again, I'll keep you posted.

Finally I've been finally getting round to adding some more to my website http://www.tuxtorials.com before launching it sometime in July.

Until later fellow geeks and geekettes

Welcome!

Where do I start? I'm a geek and I'm proud!

I work at LogicaCMG in Bridgend as Desktop Support for Metronet Rail in London. I'm a Linux user and love to design my own webpages. I'm currently learning C++ for Linux and if all goes well I plan on writing some Open Source software to put something back into a scene that's given me so much!

A big hello to everyone I know especially Charlie (Tatscub) and my mates from NTL and Logica.

Take care all and check back soon
